Rangpur Division District and Thana List 2023. Rangpur Division is one of the eight administrative divisions of Bangladesh. It consists of 6 districts in the northern part of Bangladesh. It was declared as the seventh division of Bangladesh on January 25, 2010.
The National Implementation Committee on Administrative Restructuring of the Government of Bangladesh approved Rangpur as the seventh division of the country on 25 January 2010. Earlier, on 13 July 2009, the cabinet decided to divide Rangpur. A committee was formed and the committee submitted its report on July 21.

Kurigram District:
This District is an administrative region in the Rangpur Division of northwestern Bangladesh. [1] According to the number of Upazilas, It is an “A” class district in Bangladesh.
Kurigram district is bounded on the north by Lalmonirhat district and Kochbihar district of West Bengal, on the south by Gaibandha district, on the east by Dhubri district, and Shalmara-Mankachar district of Assam, and on the west by Lalmonirhat district and Rangpur district.

Administrative Areas:
The total area of Kurigram: 2238.94 sq km. There are 9 Upazilas, 3 municipalities, 63 union parishads, and 18 villages. Total paved roads: 414.92 km and unpaved roads 428.58 km. Upazilas: 1. Ulipur upazila, 2. Kurigram Sadar Upazila, 3. Char Rajibpur Upazila, 4. Chilmari Upazila, 5. Nageshwari Upazila, 6. Fulbari Upazila, 7. Bhurungamari Upazila, 8. Rajarhat Upazila, and 9. Roumari Upazila.
Gaibandha district:
This District is an administrative region of the Rangpur Division in northern Bangladesh.
Gaibandha district is bounded on the north by Kurigram and Rangpur districts, on the south by Bogra and Joypurhat districts, on the east by Jamalpur district, Teesta and Jamuna rivers, and on the west by Rangpur, Dinajpur, and Joypurhat districts.
Administrative Areas:
Gaibandha district is divided into seven upazilas. For Example These are – 1. Gaibandha Sadar Upazila, 2. Sadullapur Upazila, 3. Fulchhari Upazila, 4. Gobindaganj upazila, 5. Palashbari Upazila, 6. Saghata upazila and 7. Sundarganj Upazila.

Thakurgaon district:
This District is an administrative region in the Rangpur Division of northwestern Bangladesh.
Thakurgaon district is bounded on the north by Panchagarh district. This District south position has Dinajpur district. and West Bengal of India, on the east by Dinajpur district and on the west by West Bengal, India.
Administrative Areas:

Dinajpur District
Dinajpur District is one of the oldest and largest districts in the Rangpur Division of northwestern Bangladesh. According to the number of Upazilas, Dinajpur is an “A” class district of Bangladesh. [2] The region is geologically part of the Indian plate, which was part of Gondwanaland, formed in the early Jurassic period. Upazila: For Example, 1. Dinajpur Sadar, 2. Birampur, 3. Khanshama, 4. Birganj, 5. Bochaganj, 6. Phulbari, 7. Chirirbandar, 8. Ghoraghat, 9. Hakimpur, 10. Kaharol, 11. Nawabganj, 12. Parbatipur, 13. Birol.
Nilphamari District:
Nilphamari District is a district (second-tier administrative unit) in northwestern Bangladesh. It is one of the eight border districts of the Rangpur Division (one of the eight divisions of Bangladesh which was formed as the seventh division on January 25, 2010).
Nilphamari is also the name of the district headquarters. Jalpaiguri district of India is on the northern border of Nilphamari district and Lalmonirhat district, Rangpur district, Dinajpur district, and Panchagarh district are located on the other side.

Nilphamari district is called the land of the blue. The district has a rich cultural heritage and topography which sets it apart from other districts. The highlands and drought prone areas of the district to the north, the sandy areas of the Teesta to the east, these high and sandy lands have gradually turned into fertile agricultural lands to the southwest. Nilphamari bears many witnesses to past history. Many festivals and fairs are organized in this district including Satyapir’s song, duck game, fish game.
Nilphamari is a major agricultural district. 8.5% of the people in the district depend on agriculture. The main industries here are weaving, rice, basbet, etc. Darwani Textile Mill is the largest industrial establishment in the district. Panchagarh district is an administrative region in the Rangpur Division of northwestern Bangladesh. It is the northernmost district of Bangladesh.

There are five upazilas in Chachagarh district. E.g .:1. Atwari Upazila, 2. Tetulia Upazila, 3. Debiganj Upazila, 4. Panchagarh Sadar Upazila and 5. Boda Upazila.

Rangpur district:
